On 12 November 2008, Rwanda Men’s Resource Centre (RWAMREC), in collaboration with UNDP Rwanda, facilitated a countrywide meeting aimed at launching officially the MenEngage Netwok in Rwanda and validate its 2009 action Plan. The MenEngage Network was officially launched by the Representative of The Minister in Prime Minister`s office in charge of Gender and Family Promotion, Madam Christianne Umuhire who is the Director of Gender and Women`s empowerment. Approximately 65 participants attended the meeting, representing a range of government agencies, national and international NGOs, UN agencies, and civil society.
